NGC 7463

NGC 7463 is a peculiar intermediate spiral galaxy, located in the constellation of Pegasus. Its velocity relative to the cosmic microwave background is 1979 ± 26 km/s, which corresponds to a Hubble distance of 29.2 ± 2.1 Mpc. NGC 7463 was discovered by the German-British astronomer William Herschel in 1784.
