NGC 3905

NGC 3905 is a barred spiral galaxy in the constellation of Crater. Its velocity with respect to the cosmic microwave background is 6,130±26 km/s, which corresponds to a Hubble distance of 294.9 ± 20.7 Mly (90.41 ± 6.34 Mpc). However, six non-redshift measurements give a closer mean distance of 238.64 ± 20.80 Mly (73.167 ± 6.376 Mpc). It was discovered by English astronomer Andrew Ainslie Common in 1880.
