Multi-messenger astronomy
This phenomenon is roughly what happens to Cosmo and Ray as they zoom through space. The magnetic forces try to grab hold of them, but the energy from the collision is so strong that it makes them accelerate like speeding bullets!
Technical definition
A new approach in astrophysics that involves simulating observations with multiple messengers such as electromagnetic radiation (e.g., gamma-rays), gravitational waves, or neutrinos to better comprehend and predict extreme events on our universe.
