Some galaxies have star clusters that are more like buffet tables with a lot of variety – they're filled with all sorts of elements.

Technical definition

A measure of a stellar system's abundance of elements heavier than hydrogen and helium, expressed in units such as [Fe/H] for iron-to-hydrogen ratio.
