ISOTOPE ABUNDANCE RATIOS
The strong stars have a lot of "polluted" iron in them; but the amount of magnesium is more evenly distributed across both groups, similar to how isotopic abundance ratios provide insights into the nucleosynthetic history and chemical evolution of stellar populations.

The relative abundance of different isotopes within a given element in celestial objects or physical systems.
