Within this starry family, our scientists found 24 special "Blue Straggler" candidates. These blue flowers of the sky are actually older, cooler stars that somehow got super-hot for a moment!
Technical definition
A method for determining the age and distance of a cluster by matching its observed color-magnitude diagram to a theoretical model (isochrone) at the same age.
