Green valley galaxies
These are similar to main-sequence galaxies but "at a much slower pace," as if they're saving energy for the party.
Technical definition
A term designating galaxies in transition between the so-called main sequence (with high specific star-formation rate) and the red sequence (characterized by low specific star-formation rate).
