IRS3 is similar to a cozy little cave. As we look into the cave (or disk), we notice that the dust particles are like a puzzle piece fitting together perfectly at the beginning but getting more mixed up towards the edge.

Dust obscuration occurs when outer envelope material or denser dust blocks or absorbs starlight coming from inner regions, potentially affecting observations
