What happened was that scientists used something called a telescope to pier into the Bullet Cluster and its friends, focusing on three different centers of galaxy clusters.
Technical definition
BCG (Brightest Central Galaxy) refers to the brightest central cluster member, while core regions are areas with high stellar density surrounding these galaxies.
